Most Talked About Music Moments of 2015

From boy band farewell to pop divas breaking records, these were the most talked about moments in music we had throughout 2015. Will we top them come 2016? We’ll have to wait and see!

His personal antics aside, Bieber surprised a lot of us when his latest album, Purpose, was actually pretty great. What do you mean? I mean, check it out if you haven’t just yet.

4. Nicki Minaj’s Infamous Question

Miley Cyrus has been trying too hard to be different over the past year and Nicki Minaj stood up and said what we’ve all wanted to, “Miley, what’s good?” Okay, so that was more about what the barely dressed singer had to say in an interview about the rapper. We just wish she would’ve added, “Miley, what’s good? Why don’t you like clothes anymore?”

The video for “Bad Blood” went on to break records (until Adele came out later) but it wasn’t really the song that we cared about – it was the video. It made everyone wish they were BFFs with the singer. Not only that, but she seemed to pull up everyone under the sun when she did her tour this year from Kobe Bryant to the Pope. Okay, so the Pope didn’t pop up – but maybe soon…

2. One Direction’s Goodbye

First Zayn Malik walked away from the group and then the rest of them announced they were taking a break.

Can you hear me? I’m writing this to the beat of the song in my head. Great, now it’s stuck in my head! But really, we all knew she was a powerhouse but holy wow – this song did a number on us at the end of the year.
