Standalone streaming service Stream Now TV will launch its PRO version this month. The launch is highlighted by content deals with Gravitas Ventures, Cinema Libre Studio and several filmmakers directly. Stream Now currently curates and streams independent content for free via it’s Roku set-top-box TV channel, website and mobile app. Stream Now PRO will offer a growing content library including titles from Gravitas Ventures and Cinema Libre Studio ad-free, for $12 dollars a year.
Initially, PRO will offer the films; All Stars, Beach Pillows and Brightest Star worldwide, as well as, Among Ravens and Ping Pong Summer, in North America, through Gravitas Ventures. The Cinema Libre Studio deal will bring; As High As The Sky, The Happy Poet, Wet Behind The Ears, Hero of The Day and Heaven Strewn. In addition to these titles, a number of feature films, indie series and short films will be available for the PRO launch. This will include Zach Gold’s new series GRIDLOCKED (coming in April) starring Andrew Keegan and Richard Riehle.
“We are really trying to break this industry and lower the barrier for talented creators to find their audience. This is just the first step of many to be a creator first company.” said Stream Now TV CEO Ron Valderrama.
