We hope that everyone had a great Mother’s Day and that you possibly took her to see someone she loved this past weekend, or perhaps you were waiting to surprise her with tickets to one of the great shows that are coming through Los Angeles this week. Growing giants in the indie scene, they’re always a great time when they land down here and play a show. After surprising fans a while back at the Troubadour, they’re letting it be known this time around that they’ll be here this week at The Fonda.

Macy Gray at Saban Theatre and The Rose on 5/13 & 5/14

With one of the most recognizable names in the game, Macy Gray will be on Wilshire and out in Pasadena this week to treat fans to all her signature hits, including the one we all love, “I Try.”

Beyonce may be at the Pasadena Bowl this night, but whoever didn’t get tickets to that can go ahead and head over to Carson and see the likes of Ariana Grande, Zayn, Gwen Stefani, Demi Lovato and well a cascade of others – not too bad, right?
