Music Monday: Wrapping Up May

We’re approaching the end of May and going out with some anniversaries and a whole lot of rock and roll greatness with some sweet hip hop tossed into the mix. Let’s not waste anymore and get to where you should be spending the end of musical May in LA.

The Who Staples Center on 5/25

The Who
This is a show that fans have not only been waiting a half a century for, but even longer since it was a concert that had to be rescheduled due to health issues with their leading man. Now he’s well and ready to rock it out.

The Used at The Novo on 5/27-28

the used
One of the best bands to come out of the early 2000’s was this band. They brought that screamo to the masses with their debut and hit the mainstream big time with their sophomore release. Now they’re celebrating both records by playing them in their entirety over the course of two nights.

WAR at Greek Theatre on 5/28

UH! What is it good for? …in this case? Absolutely everything.

Otep at Whisky A Go Go on 5/28

Always a showstopper, Otep is the female fronted metal band that have been doing their thing for 16 years and will continue to do so!

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis at Shrine Expo Hall on 5/31

This duo have created some of the most sung songs in the past decade and while they’ve been quiet for the past year or so, they’re not shying away from their fans with this grand show.
