Music Monday: A Look Forward to June

There are still two days left in May but we’re so excited for June to start that we’re looking at some shows that are kicking off that month in style. From one of the most intimate venues in the city to a few of the biggest stages, these are the shows to start June with.

The Hush Sound at Troubadour on 6/1

Celebrating one of their best albums, this Windy City band is back to give fans what they want. They came up with the likes of Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco, but always stood outside of that scene with their Vh1 like melodies. They’ve taken breaks here and there, but are banding together for this ride.

Thrice at Shrine Expo Hall on 6/3

Last year they were one of the most watched bands at Taste of Chaos and this year we won’t be surprised to see all those fans and them some packing in to see them this week.

Matt Corby at The Wiltern on 6/4

Every time this guy comes through town people go rabid, and this time is no different. Catch him if you can!

Andrea Bocelli at Hollywood Bowl on 6/5

One of the most celebrated voices in the world, this man touches the soul every time he steps onto a stage, opens his mouth and performs like an angel from above.

While some country music is going way onto the pop side of the spectrum, these guys are keeping it traditional while still being modern and that’s why they’re playing one of the biggest places in town!
