Music Monday: Land of the Free!

It just continues to get hotter here in southern California, and we offer you some refreshing music to beat the sun rays beating down. We’re just about done with June and heading into July. Come Monday there will be BBQs and fireworks across the land, but before all of that gets underway, check out these shows picked just for you!

Pity Sex at Troubadour on 6/28

These indie rockers from Michigan will be in town playing fan favorites from the past, as well as new hits from their latest release, this year’s White Hot Moon.

Alien Ant Farm at Whisky A Go Go on 7/1

Back in the day these guys came out and blew us all away with their cover of Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal,” and after that they toured the world and then some. Today they’re still going strong thanks to their dedicated fan base. Plus, they’ll be playing their biggest record front to back!

Hinder at The Canyon on 7/1

Fans of that Buckcherry like rock are the ones who’ll want to come out to see this rock band from Oklahoma.

Ringo Starr at Greek Theatre on 7/2

It’s not like it takes much convincing to make one want to see a living legend like this in the flesh. He’s a Beatle people!

Chicago at Hollywood Bowl on 7/2-4

This is a biggie as they couldn’t contain this band to just one night. Also, you can even spend your holiday celebrating this great nation with them!
