Music Monday: You Have to Be There!

Those huge summer tours have been going on for a minute now and they’re continuing this week as a Grammy winner rolls through town as well as a couple of bands with fans who take things to a new level and some blasts from the 90’s past.

Back in the 90’s there was a number of boy bands to make their way to tweens and teens hearts and Immature AKA IMX was one of them. This trio bridged the gap between New Edition and B2K that was come not too long after, and featured one of the most notable neighbors of the decade; “Go home Roger!”

7/22 Meghan Trainor at Greek Theatre

She proved she was all about that bass in the last couple of years and people absolutely fell in love with this girl. She’s also walked home with a Grammy since bursting onto the scene – not too shabby.

7/22 Phish at The Forum

Even those who don’t know this band, KNOW this band thanks to them having one of the most dedicated fan bases that take fandom to a whole other level.

7/23 Twenty One Pilots at The Forum

The day after Phishheads come through, there will be another hoard of obsessed fans that hit The Forum. In the past year or so, this band went from underground favorites to a mainstream mainstay thanks to hits like “Blurryface.”

7/24 Barenaked Ladies at Greek Theatre

We started with the 90’s and that’s where we’ll wrap this up. Remember their tongue-twister hit “One Week?”
