Britney Spears to drop new Album Glory on August 23rd

Britney Spears announced on Twitter Wednesday that Glory, the pop singer’s first album since 2013’s Britney Jean, will arrive on August 26th on Apple Music. “#Glory. My new album & the beginning of a new era,” the singer tweeted along with the album’s cover.

Fans who preorder the new album on iTunes starting at midnight EST will receive an instant download of “Private Show,” which the singer previously previewed in the commercial for her fragrance of the same name.

Spears didn’t offer any other details regarding her new LP, but it’s expected to also house “Make Me,” her slinky new single with rapper G-Eazy. More news should arrive following Spears’ Wednesday night appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where the singer will discuss Glory as well as prank the host with an elaborate surprise wake-up call


Britney Jean Spears was born in McComb, Mississippi on December 2nd 1981. she was raised by her parents, Jamie Spears and Britney Spears, in Kentwood Louisiana.  She has an older brother, Bryan James, and a younger sister, Jamie Lynn.  She began her performance career fairly early. She was involved in dancing lessons in her hometown of Kentwood at the age of 3. And soon she was picked to perform as a solo artist at the annual recital.  She was motivated even then in regards to her  ambition towards fame. In addition to the dancing lessons, she also took voice lessons and gymnastics. She even competed on the state level.  At the age of 5, she got up on stage at her kindergarten graduation, and sang What Child Is This.

She has released an impressive total of eight albums. She currently has a lucrative residency in Las Vegas at the venue in Planet Hollywood. She is said to earn $475,000 per performance.
