“Seven Seasons is an alternative metal band based in the recording capital of the world, Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Their music is characterized by sweeping leads and commanding guitar riffs. Lead singer, Ty Beahm’s gritty vocal style completes the marriage of moody grunge and aggressive metal. The band’s self-titled EP demands attention with a high energy that won’t disappoint.
Seven Seasons was established in 2013 when lead singer Ty Beahm and guitarist Anna Beahm decided to pursue heavier music. The next two years were spent polishing their style and writing skills. Lead guitarist Nathan Milstein joined the group, adding a new flare to the band’s sound in fall 2015. Drummer Jarrod Osborn decided to join the fun in June 2016. The band is seeking to grow its online audience through digital music outlets and social media.”

Kaz Mirblouk is a super talented indie rock musician from Los Angeles. His band have a new album coming out on lolipop records August 19th which was recorded and produced by Joel Jerome in Eagle Rock at his studio. They will begin their North American tour this month as well.
Kaz’s style is high energy and blends California surf guitar with indie garage rock. If you dig the Lolipop/ Burger garage sound and party vibe, Kaz is totally for you . Check out this early release titled ” Untitled”. ( We are not sure if it is not yet titled or if the name is really Untitled). I guess we will soon find out. Check it!
The Only Ocean
Lompoc, California born four-piece, The Only Ocean, renders a fresh approach to Indie Rock, marrying a wide range of sub-genres from Psych-Pop and Post-Punk to Acid Rock. Comprised of childhood friends, Wesley Hill, Dustin Whalen, Shae Kakos, and Alex Burdess, The Only Ocean, has quickly become one of Southern California’s beloved.
‘CUL-DE-SAC’, the first single off of their latest EP, ‘TOO’, is a reverb-slicked anthem for anyone who has ever tasted the sweet angst in desolation. Snarky lyricism, roving melodies, and elements of shimmery Psychedelia help to facilitate the unapologetically transparent nature of the track. Contributing producers and engineers on the EP are Graham Ginsburg and Rick Mabery of The Barn Music Studio, and Jonathan DeBaun (The Mars Volta, Le Butcherettes, Antemasque). On the release of the five-track ‘TOO’, Whalen relays ‘we are very excited to release this new music because it’ll give our fans a taste of the kind of direction we want to take. I feel like the new cd sounds a bit more aggressive.’

Katie Burden’s stylized atmospheric rock and shamanistic delivery often conjure up the ghost of Jim Morrison but in a modern context, falls somewhere between Bat for Lashes and Joan as Police Woman.
After being Raised in a small hippy town in Colorado, Burden spent her formative years bouncing around NYC and later San Francisco. In 2012 she moved to LA and after attending a meditation retreat, synchronistically fell in with a group of blue chip musicians including drummer/producer Norm Block (Mark Lanegan, Jennylee of Warpaint and Plexi) and guitarist Jen Turner of Here We Go Magic and Explanation Pony. Katie happened to have hundreds of song sketches recorded as voice memos on her phone and after she played them for her new friends there was no looking back.
Katie Burden: Vocals, Bass
Norm Block: Drums, Percussion
Mike Brunner: Guitars
Ara Ketendjian:Keys, guitars
Produced, Mixed and Recorded by Norm Block at Happy Ending Studios, Silverlake, CA.
Wyatt Blair, one of the hottest up and coming indie artist this side of Echo Park, just released huge Power Pop Album “Point Of No Return”. His last album Banana Cream Dream was an album of epic proportions and established this OC native super star as one of L.A.’s most talented singer/song writers.
Point Of No Return reminded us of the 80’s and early 90’s dream pop with sprinkle of Bowie. Point of No Return is a must listen to album and sure to get you rocking and rollin’.
