Here’s your official welcome to October! We entered it last week, but this is our first full week of shows and this one proves that summer isn’t the only month meant for great tours. Back in the ’90s one of the best music came from the Bad Boy label run by Puff Daddy. At least that was his name at the time. Since then he’s gone through a few monikers but alas, the ’90s are back as the Bad Boy family is having a reunion and bringing it through the Forum this week. If hip hop classics aren’t for you and you’re the type who checked out Mumford and Sons last week at the Greek, you’ll want to check out The Lumineers this time around at the Bowl. For the Warped Tour crowd, Cute Is What We Aim For is heading to the Bootleg Theater to play their debut album from 2006 front to back. That’s the one I’ll be at, so say hello if you see me! Then over the weekend Dixie Chicks will take on The Forum, while Bastille plays two nights at the Troubadour. A great week chalked full of amazing artists from all walks of life. So make sure to get out there and see some live music!
